Private Organization "Social and Rehabilitation Center (Kids Village) "Zatyshok" Public Report for 2023-2024

  1. Introductory word
    In this report, we tell you how, through our joint efforts and your support, we are changing the lives of children who have experienced loss, war, and other difficult circumstances. During 2023–2024, we created a safe environment, provided housing, food, education, medical care, psychological support, and development for our children.
  2. Key results for 2023-2024
    • Support was provided to 192 children, 21 IDP families, 2 DBSTs, and 3 children's institutions from the occupied territories.
    • They provided: 5 meals a day, housing, clothing, medical care, educational materials, and psychological support.
    • Psychological services: 141 individual consultations, 299 group sessions.
    • IT education: 22 children completed IT courses.
    • Cultural and educational events: 112 master classes, 26 excursions, over 370 hikes, English classes (1124), music, and football.
    • In winter, children skied and skated, and throughout the year, children visited swimming pools and water parks, and cinemas.
    • Cosmetic repairs were carried out, furniture and appliances were updated, and a new playground was installed.

    Children from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro regions, Bakhmut, and Kryvyi Rih are grateful for a new life in a safe environment. Thanks to "Zatyshok", children received education, psychological assistance, and renewed faith in the future.
  5. Plans for 2025
    • Expand housing stock and infrastructure for children.
    • Strengthen medical and psychological assistance.
    • Build an administrative building and a warehouse.
    • Launch new rehabilitation and education programs.
