The children of Zatyshok had the opportunity to embark on an extraordinary journey to the Shenborn Park — a unique historical park where the legacy of the Austro-Hungarian Empire blends beautifully with modern creativity and the stunning landscapes of Zakarpattia.

They also took part in exciting culinary and art workshops, where each child could express themselves, try something new, and simply feel the joy of being a child.

These moments are so much more than just entertainment — they are a restoration of childhood, something the war tried to take away.

This became possible thanks to the Canada- Ukraine Foundation and its partner on humanitarian assistance to Ukraine – Ukrainian Canadian Congress— who continue to support the children of the “Zatyshok” children’s village.
